How Red is Red? A toolkit for artists, galleries and teachers

This toolkit from Engage, the national network for professionals working in gallery education, explores teaching and learning through art with children aged 3-7. It was devised out of a research programme exploring the contribution that galleries and artists can make to the new Foundation Phase curriculum in Wales.

Little Acorns – Early Years Creativity Programme

The Little Acorns project, in celebration of the city of Liverpool’s 800th birthday, aimed to engage 124 private and voluntary nurseries, 321 childminders within their networks and the nine established children’s centres. The project saw artists develop inclusive practice hand-in-hand with the early years settings staff, children and families.
