Using Photography of the Environment (PDF)
Find out how to make your children’s ideas visible and their voices heard using photography
Photography is a wonderful gift to offer our children. It provides a unique opportunity for children to capture those moments that fascinate them, to show us what interests them most in the world and to put them in control of telling their own story.
This pack will provide early childhood professionals with a variety of practical approaches that give children the power to ‘speak to us’. It will show you how photography offers a fantastically positive chance to engage with, and support children’s learning, and to observe their progress in all areas of learning and development in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
