Watch our highly engaging training video, 'Ask the Expert', where we will be joined by Guest Experts, Mat Andasun, Creative Director of Mr Mangle's Magical Music Factory, and Martha Toogood, Senior Researcher and Evaluator on this project.

Mr Mangle's Magical Music Factory is an exciting new software application for Early Years, Special Needs and KS1/2. It has been conceived and designed by Mat Andasun, a Nottingham composer, who has been creating music with young people since the mid 90's.  Mat's idea for the Magical Music Factory came from his interest in sound design (which he uses in his writing for television), his wish to make music technology accessible and his love of creative music making in groups.

Mr Mangle's Music Factory enables children to record their voice or anything else and turn it into an amazing educational resource.

Imagine the sound of your voice turning into a giant or the sound of keys turned into a spaceship taking off.  All you need are your ears and a sense of adventure! Using simple icons you can quickly capture a sound, play it back on-screen keyboard and change it in all sorts of fun ways. You can the use your sound to sing songs, make music and tell stories, bring characters and worlds to life.
